Gogo City guide/ Kilometre

Nice to see my artworks were used on the front and back covers of this Gogo City guide publication. Which is being given out at Kilometre's pop up at Le Bon Marche.

They Asked what my top 5 destinations were. Here they are in no particular order:

1.Jardin des Plantes, 57 Rue Cuvier, 75005 Paris, France

I only discovered this 17th century garden on my last visit to Paris in October. I imagine it is beautiful through all the seasons. There is so much to explore here, including 11 gardens, glasshouses, a maze, the worlds oldest zoo and the amazing Galerie de Mineralogie de Geologie.

2.Sir John Soanes Mueum, 13 Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London WC2A 3BP

Formerly the home of neo-classical architect Sir John Soane. It's now a really fascinating treasure trove of his personal art collection and architectural artefacts ,curiosities and drawings. And entry is free so accessible to everyone!

Giardino Garibaldi,Piazza Marina, 90100 Palermo, Sicily, Italy.

I completely fell inlove with these old, enormous fairy tale like Fig trees filling this square. They reach up to 25m tall with exposed and hanging roots. I could have spent hours climbing through them and absorbing their life force!

Kasbah- Ait-Ben-Haddou 45000 Morocco.

I was lucky enough to stop off here as part of the most inspiring, memorable road trip of my life from Ouarzazate in Morocco to the Sahara desert. Here is an ancient fortified city made of earthen clay that looks like giant sand castles. I felt like I had been transported back to a completely different era in history- which is why it has become the set to so many Hollywood films including Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.

The American Museum of Natural History, Central Park West & 79th St, New York, NY 10024. United States

I re-visted the museum this year having not been since a child, but it was still as impressive. I especially love the 1920’s diorama displays which apparently took years to complete, showing taxidermy animals in their natural environments like small stage sets with carefully painted backdrops and scenic props.
